PartiGene "ARTHROPODA" database Sources of data and images
The sequence data analysed in this database derives either from GenBank/EMBL/DDBJ's dbEST section, or from currently unpublished datasets generated in Edinburgh in collaboration with colleagues. While some of the dbEST-derived datasets have been formally published (see references below), many have not, and before exploiting these users are strongly encouraged to contact the submitting authors. The images have been identified from the www and their sources are given below. If you would like to offer a better image, or pass comment on our use of an image, please do email the curator, Mark Blaxter. (Note: this page is not yet complete: some organisms are not listed)
Current database version 2.0, 24 March 2006 26 species, 230,980 ESTs and 81,888 putative genes ("clusters").
