ABOUT THIS DATABASE

EST and mRNA data for these two salamander species was downloaded from GenBank dbEST on 10 December 2006, and clustered using the PartiGene suite of tools. Blast searches (versus a database of eukaryotic rRNAs, against the UniProt database (Nov 2006) and the two speices versus each other, were carried out 10 December to 12 December 2006. If you would like a copy of the database, or the cluster consensus sequences, please contact mark.blaxter_at_ed.ac.uk
