BiblioFil

The database has been split into segments by year. Each file has been compressed, and will arrive on your computer as

• ENDNOTE or REFER for MACINTOSH: a binhexed archive (in which case you will have to use a utility such as BinHex or UnStuffit to decode it). Your browser may automatically convert this into a self-extracting archive, depending on how it is configured. To unpack the file just double click on the ...sea archive file.
• ENDNOTE or REFER for DOS and WINDOWS (and UNIX...): a gnuzipped archive. To uncompress the database files on DOS or windows machines you need a zip decompressor such as WinZip for windows, or the freeware utility gunzip. You can download gunzip from ftp://unix.hensa.ac.uk/mirrors/FreeBSD/2.1.0-RELEASE/tools/gunzip.exe [download as binary!] pkzip will not uncompress these fies.....
