Filarial DNA Libraries

Many new filarial cDNA libraries were discussed at the meeting. These include cDNA libraries from Onchocerca as well as Brugia.

Nomenclature of Brugia ESTs

The meeting discussed the naming of cDNA clones for submission to dbest.
We were concerned that the names given to clones in the EST projects should be both

UNIQUE
and
INTELLIGIBLE

and came up with the scheme for naming on the linked document.
