By reconstructing the phylogeography of component members of the community centered on oak gallwasps, members of the group of Dr Stone study the formation and evolution of these communities. Most of the species investigated have a concordant origin and pattern of range expansion.
I contributed to this project by reconstructing the phylogeographic history of two widespread generalist parasitoids of the family Eurytomidae; Eurytoma brunniventris and Sycophila biguttata.
