What is NEMBASE ?
- A database resource for nematode EST datasets.
- Provides a simple easy-to-use access point to the publically available nematode sequence and functional data.
- A research tool for both nematode biology and drug discovery/ vaccine design.
Searching NEMBASE
- NEMBASE can be searched by simple text queries (annotation), by sequence similarity or library specific.
- Peptide translation and protein annotation searches are currently implemented.
NEMBASE output
- Currently NEMBASE provides lists of sequence clusters which fulfill search criteria.
- Information on individual clusters include : library expression, consensus build, and precomputed blast results.
- The SimiTri tool enables a visual comparison of the phylogenetic relationships of individual clusters.
NEMBASE news
- NEMBASE is currently updated to include 32 species.
- Some functionality may temporarily be unavailable.
- The following link takes you to the "old" NEMBASE.
